BitGo ha recibido una licencia de Regulación de Mercados de Criptoactivos (MiCA) de la Autoridad Federal de Supervisión Financiera de Alemania (BaFin), lo que le permite ofrecer servicios regulados de activos digitales en toda la Unión Europea.
Este hito normativo supone una importante expansión para BitGo Europe GmbH, que se estableció en Fráncfort en 2023 como sede de BitGo en la UE. La entidad ya cuenta con registros en varios Estados miembros, entre ellos Italia, España, Polonia y Grecia. Ahora que ha obtenido la licencia MiCA, BitGo puede operar en toda la UE bajo un marco normativo unificado y con visión de futuro.
